Let’s record over 1,800 species

Sound recordings are essential to help train the new generation of tools being developed for birders and acoustic monitoring. Join the Big Year of African Sounds and be a part of the future of birding in Africa.

Record bird sounds

Use your cell phone or a directional microphone to record the birds you hear and share them on eBird. Every bird makes a difference, everywhere in Africa.
