Tanzania Sound Recording Workshop (23-26 Jan 2026)

We had a fun and extremely successful workshop in Usa River! Participants recorded over 80 species and submitted over 300 recordings! Check out the eBird Trip report here.

• Introduction to eBird and Merlin
• Introduction to Big Year of Africa Sound
• Introduction to sound recording
• How to make field recordings
• Downloading, editing, and uploading sound recordings through eBird
• Recording with a cell phone
• Sound recording equipment
